How much does a website cost in Switzerland?

The main price ranges
There's no single price, but websites in Switzerland fall into a few broad families:

What drives the price

Yearly costs to keep in mind
On top of the build price come a few recurring costs:
- Domain name: roughly CHF 10 to 20 a year for a .ch.
- Hosting: from free for a lightweight static site to a few dozen francs a month for a heavier one.
- Maintenance: updates, security and small changes, if you'd rather not handle them yourself.
Whoever builds your site, make sure the domain is registered in your own name. It's your address on the internet, and it should belong to you.
